Privacy notice
The short version: this site has no analytics and no cookies, the app sends us nothing, and the only things we hold about you are the emails you send and, once buying opens, a billing record.

This website
The site is static HTML with no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts. Nothing tracks you between pages, and there’s no advertising or social pixel anywhere on it. Fonts are served from this domain, not from Google.
Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server logs, which include IP addresses. That happens for any website; we don’t combine those logs with anything else, and we don’t try to identify you from them.
The app
SoftGlaze Browser has no SoftGlaze account and sends us no telemetry: no usage statistics, no crash reports, no licence check-ins beyond the payment itself. Your profiles, proxies, members, cookies and Data Vault entries are in a database on your computer, and we have no copy of any of it.
The app does contact other companies’ services for specific jobs: downloading a browser engine, looking up where a proxy exits, pulling a proxy list from your provider. Those services see the request and an IP address, which for the proxy lookups is the proxy’s rather than yours. Every destination, what triggers it and what goes with it is listed on the security page.
If you invite a member by email, the invitation is sent through the SMTP server you configure. It doesn’t pass through us.
What we hold, and for how long

Forms on the site aren’t live yet, so today the only route is email. When the forms do go live, the endpoint keeps your IP address for the length of a rate-limit window, to stop the same address flooding it, and then drops it.
Payments
Buying isn’t open yet. When it is, payment happens through a payment provider (card, PayPal or Cryptomus) on their page, under their own privacy terms. They handle the card details; we receive a record of the payment, not your card number.
Who else sees it
We don’t sell data and we don’t share it for advertising. The only people who see any of it are:
- The hosting provider that serves this site.
- The email provider that carries our mail.
- The payment provider, once buying opens.
- An accountant, for the billing records, and an authority where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@softglaze.com and you’ll get a first reply within one business day, and the answer itself within 30 days. We may have to keep billing records that tax law requires, and we’ll say so if that applies.
If you’re in the UK or the EU, the lawful bases are: performing our contract with you (billing, support), our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and answering messages, and legal obligation (tax records). You can complain to your data protection authority if you think we’ve got this wrong. Tell us first if you can. It’s quicker.
Where it’s stored
We’re a US company, so the data described here is handled in the United States by us and our providers. If you’re outside the US, sending us an email means it crosses a border.
Age
SoftGlaze is for people aged 18 or over. We don’t knowingly hold data about children, and the app isn’t designed for them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects what we do with something we already hold about you, we’ll email you first. One business day, Monday to Friday for any question about it.
